It gives users the luxury of finding posts relevant to what they are looking for and also helps in designing a better navigation for your site. Wordpress is ahead of blogger in categorizing the posts but blogger is trying to keep up with it day by day.

You can edit, remove or add labels to many posts at a time without individually editing all the posts. Be careful with managing labels in blogger because one wrong label can alter your site's navigation and structure.

You can change the email account that your blog is associated with. For that you have to add new gmail account to your blog, make it admin and then remove the old account from your blog.
