Most of the users have complaint about Windows 8 that it only lets you boot to start menu instead of desktop. It is not very bad for touch devices but for other devices people are used to the old desktop view and place important things there. You can solve this by utilities available but fortunately Windows 8.1 enables you to go to desktop upon login.
Steps
Step 1: On desktop,
right click the
taskbar and then click
properties.
|
Taskbar (right click) |
Step 2: Now on newly opened window go to
navigation tab and
check (enable) the
first option under
Start screen heading and hit
Ok.
|
Navigation Properties |
Now you will go to desktop after logging in to windows.
