Is your computer running very slow? It may be because of unnecessary files on your computer which includes error reporting files, log files, temporary internet files and more. These files are present for every user. They does not take much space but if you do not delete them regularly, they accumulate and eat your space and reduce your performance.

Windows includes disk cleanup utility by which you can remove temporary files without much effort. I recommend you to perform disk cleanup twice a month or more for every user on PC.

Here's how to do it:

For Windows 8 and 8.1

Step 1: On desktop press Ctrl + W and type Administrative Tools in search bar and hit enter.
Administrative Tools

Step 2: Open Disk Cleanup and select C drive (On which windows is installed).
Step 3: Check all the options and hit OK. A confirmation window will open. Press Delete Files and wait for files to be deleted and you're done.
